Hello

I.ve bought a Breitling Navitimer Airborne bi-color with original 18k bezel and steel / gold pilotband in 1993 . Know i read a few site,s and of course this site and saw that the Breitling Navitimer Airborne had the production years 1995-1997.
So i don,t understand how this is possible that my watch was producing in 1993 :?: :?:
does anyone know , how this is possible.
I bought this Breitling in 1993 in Swiss, Zurich , Les Ambassadeurs , the Breitling ref.number is D 33030

Friendly regards from the Netherlands :)

Ooh, nice watch!! I insist that you sell it to me immediately.

Almost bought one earlier this year at Antiquorum, ended up passing and have regretted it ever since.

I don't have catalogues for that era, but I'm pretty sure that the Airborne was available earlier than 95. We'll give admin a slap to get it corrected

horlogefan... Howdy from Texas!

I looked in my 1994 catalog and found the watch your describing. It's also in the 95,96,97 catalogs. It's a super nice and probably rare piece..

Here is a picture from the catalog.

Way too much money.

The one Antiquorum sold went for CHF2,600 plus buyer's premium, and that was a fully documented / appraised with box and papers - heck it was accepted by Antiquorum.

Very nice!

You are one for the precious metals aren't you!

Clearly it needed a new home, I mean the seller didn't even bother aligning the bezel.
