1)Chronomat 01 Limited Edition(Superb all rounder and the iconic modern Breitling)

2)Navitimer 01 46mm(Classic Breitling and best Navi variant ever IMO)

The 46mm is sick! The Navitimer GMT would have been my third choice, can't wait to try on that beast!

I've got a few combos which are likely different from everybody else here, since my wife prefers I have some gold in the collection to match the ring. Also, I need to have one which has a fighting chance to fit under a shirt sleeve.

In no particular order--

TT Cockpit blue dial (pre-08 circular pattern) and LE Navi 01

14K Montbrilliant (traditional dial layout) and Black dial Headwind (could substitute Big Date Blackbird (blackeye blue, I think,) here)

My Chrono-matic SE and TT Cockpit blue dial

Midnight Blue TOC and 14K Montbrilliant

Can't belive it bnewbie, I got the same choice here: Navitimer B01 LE and Chronomat Blackbird A13353 (I hope the 'bird would land soon :))

It's the third same choice, 1952 also opted for that combination. :D
One who waits...

Just two Breitlings?

For me, one would have to fill the bill as a dress watch. The nod there goes to the classic Transocean Chrono -- rose gold/steel with mercury silver dial.

The second would fill the sporty/casual niche -- the Chronomat Airborne, sierra silver dial, gets this slot. Close runner up: Superocean Heritage Chrono 44 with green bezel!

I'll figure out some other angle. Don't know when, might stay at one a month, might bump it up at some point. I found myself looking in old Chronologs for this one, so harder to find pictures. Pics are more fun.

That would be depressing for most of us, the though of just one. Once upon a time I thought all I needed was one nice one. Turns out I was sorely mistaken! ;)
