***SOLD*** Minty Chronomat 13352, awesome blue dial. You guys know this watch, but it’s the classic Chronometer version of the classic Chronomat with a blue dial that changes from almost black to brilliant blue depending on lighting. 40mm. Dial and crystal, including A/R, is flawless. Case is free of any marks as near as I can tell. Bezel action as new. Runs within COSC specs. Pilot bracelet has usual hairlines, no gouges. Currently sized will fit up to almost 7” wrist, plus there are two full spare links. Original box and papers, except warranty card is missing. Serial number on case matches COSC certificate. Even the original bezel protector (see last picture).

I’m thinning the heard, but not particularly motivated to part with this one. Includes 2nd day air, insured UPS shipping. I’ll keep it here only for a week (frankly, dealing with some guys from the “other” forums can get annoying).

I bought it fully serviced from Govberg’s pre-owned stock a couple years ago, so service should not be an issue for a while. I’ll listen to offers, but won’t respond to nonsense.

Includes this new Breitling leather wallet, passport-size - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=53546

The Chronomat is a beauty, and they sure don't make the Superocean like that anymore, GLWS!!

I agree! I love those old Chronomats and how could they ever have gone from that SO to the rubber monstrosity?

A special nod to member Desert Hiker who volunteered a proper inner and outer (Bakelite) box for the Superocean. Turns out he lives just down the street! Looks like I gratefully will be picking up his tab at the next BS Phoenix Chapter dinner. Thanks Doug. True gentleman.

Spend a few days away and drop to page 2 of the FS listings.

Chronomat is $2,650 and Superocean $1,700. Both now listed on the other fora as of today.

PS - my daughter and her boyfriend announced at a Fathers Day dinner out that they are engaged. Does this mean I'm off the hook for the rest of college tuition?

First of all, congratulations I hope! Um, no, tuition is still in play and now also wedding expenses. Fun! Anyway, these are great pieces, a nice Breitling duo which I can do nothing about but look because I'm now starting on the two-tuition plan for the next two years. I'm particularly amazed that blue Chronomat is still around.

Fortunately they don't "believe" in big, fancy weddings. They think them rather bourgeoise. God bless their youthful ignorance!

He's a masters graduate in computerized geographical information systems. Read - "geek." I have no idea what that involves except he works for Southwest Gas getting their maps updated and computerized. No watches.

Talk about easy bumps!
