Well my grandpa gave me this watch for a graduation present. He has been saving it for me for a very long time. He said it is worth a lot of money. I would never sell this watch since I love it. I just want to know what is it exactly called and if it is real or not. My grandpa said he is not sure. So can someone help me. Here are pictures of my watch. I hope these images help. http://imgur.com/a/p2LPz#0

It's called a fake, and it's worth nothing, I suggest that your grandfather tries to get his money back.

It's seriously a fake. I replied quickly because it is easy to spot that it is wrong. The crown is wrong, the subdials are wrong, the date font is wrong, the caseback is wrong - it's fake. Others will confirm if you are concerned that my 33,000 posts over almost 7 years were just leading up to the opportunity to troll your thread.

As a moderator, I have also deleted your duplicate thread, please don't double post.

Nice way to introduce yourself to a forum!

And yes, it's a fake.

Yup, and the clasp too! If this really is a surprise, sorry to pass on the bad news.... But definitely not real...

Sorry if I sound like a troll, but you don't trust the word of the site admin with 33,000 posts under his belt so please allow me to give a second opinion. The watch is 100% fake. Sorry if you find the replies a bit curt. We get a lot of one-off posters with dubious back-stories with fakes for authentication. We suspect these posters know their watches are fake but are just testing the water to see if its convincing enough to fool their family, friends or potential buyers. We give them a blunt and honest answer to send the message they won't fool anyone. So to avoid the disappointment of your grandchildren finding this fake in your drawers in 50 years time, please do the decent thing and smash it to pieces and throw it away.
