I use mine at work, when sailing, cooking, and training.

I've actually been surprised how often mine gets used. Everything from the steaks that everyone else seems to time to my dog sled races.

Actually they can be used for something meaningful too... I used the chronograph while measuring time between contractions when my second daughter was born.

When my sister was having her first child (a son), I used my
Rolex Submariner to measure the time between contractions.
(Sorry, I didn't have a chronograph at the time!) I'm afraid
the most adventurous thing I do with my Skyland is time eggs
when I'm making egg salad. :?

I take that back! Last month at the Detroit Zoo, I timed how long it
took for a rhino to get a drink of water. How exciting! :?

Seems i'm the only one that uses my Navi for flying, timing between tank changes mainly. Even the circular slide rule gets used on the ground and in the air, for ETA times and fuel and distance calcs. C'mon you aviators out there, surely there must be someone that uses there B for something other than a 3 minute egg timer.

Come on, now, don't crow, don't crow! We all can't be lucky enough to use
our chronos like their meant to be used, you know. Some of us have to stay
on ground to time the eggs and help deliver babies. But I do
wish you well up there high above. And, yes, this chair-bound aviator
(only in movies do I soar through the clouds) is envious as hell of you guys
who are given the opportunity to put your chronos, and yourselves, to the test. :)
Good luck.

Steve

For parking, I always use the bezel. Problem with the chrono is that you have to remember how much time you have available. If I could remember that, I could just remember the time I need to be back by. The bezel gives me a fail safe "you have to be back by THIS time."

i have a cso and i use the chrono to time a lot of little stuff: road trips, reading a book, sleeping time hahahah... its great to have a chrono. one thing i remember to always do is to be gentle bec a chrono has more moving parts than a watch without a chrono (like the colt, super ocean or steelfish) but a chrono is really fun to have and impress others with your great activity timing capabilities... after a while, it won't be the same without a chrono. silly but true :)

I would love to justify a nice chronograph. If one came out which could count down instead of (or as well as) up I would buy it in a heart beat, only the mission comes close(with its bezel only) but I will still hope. cheers

I am a school teacher / football coach and I use mine all the time in class to time different activites or set time limits for assignments. I don't wear it on the field, just to rough for my Ling. :D
