There is no marking on the external caseback, only internal. I think the answer is no, but since I'm often wrong I thought I'd ask.

This is an easy one the figure out Buddman. Late model Breitling from the 60's even if 14 or 18k will still have Breitling and model number on them, if not it is fake as Joan Rivers face. Fred might post a pic of a good case back as an example. Being solid gold, if worn a lot over the years the writing has a tendency to wear away if the gold is softer than stainless steel.

That's what I thought, and knew, but I've had a few lapses in judgement recently so just wanted to be 100%.

Does that caseback actually exist for ANY 18k model? The Breitling scrawl looks non authentic.
