Hi folks, after just selling my Breitling Steelfish easily on here, I hope it's ok to now sell my Omega watch too, I know it's off topic slightly...
Omega Seamaster GMT 2234.50 Genuine and located in the UK. I'm selling it at £1200 ono, I've reduced it

http://s1092.photobucket.com/user/Marti ... t=3&page=1This is both a beautiful and rare watch, produced by Omega to celebrate 50 years of Seamaster production. It is in the UK and I will only sell to the UK. It is in really good condition, it hasn't been worn much, although it has been wound every couple of weeks to keep the innards lubricated. It has a few minor marks, mainly on the clasp and strap where all watches gather a few scratches and swirls if they have been worn. It keeps excellent time. It is automatic, wrist movement winds it up as you wear it. The bezel is a 24 hour one and can move in either direction. It is highly luminous with its sword style hands, glowing very brightly in the dark. The strap has an inbuilt extension (visible in the photos) which allows it to extend to be worn over your deep sea diving suit, very useful indeed if you dive.
It's best feature is the Omega GMT system which is far better than any other manufacturer's other than Rolex and Breitling. Imagine you are flying from here to New York, you have the watch set to UK time of say 4pm, and the red GMT 24 hour hand is pointing at 16 hours (ie 16.00). New York is -5 hours, so you pull the winder out 1 click, the watch keeps on running, and you turn the knob just 5 clicks, and the hour hand (just the hour hand) clicks back 5 hours, reading 11am, ie NY time. The second hand and minute hand have kept on running, so is still accurate, and the GMT hand is still on 16, ie UK time. With all other GMT watches you have a huge mess where you wind the time back 5 hours but the GMT hand also winds back. This Omega system is brilliant and perfect for anyone that travels.
The serial No is 80927663 and is clearly visible on the lug near the 7 o'clock position with a loupe, and Omega online says that it was manufactured in 2007. I am selling it reluctantly now as I have a newer Omega co-axial GMT so wear this watch infrequently and it is a shame for it to not be worn daily. The strap is large, I bought a couple of extra links (at £40 each!) to extend it, I have a large wrist at 8" so it will fit almost anyone.
For sale is the watch, its cushion, its red Omega leather inner box, the Omega white cardboard outer box and the Omega instruction manual for their complete range. I'm sure you will be happy with it.
I will ONLY sell it to UK addresses and ONLY by paypal or by bank transfer. It will be sent by royal mail special delivery, for next day insured postage and that costs £14, but I'll pay that. Any questions, please ask. I will be happy to give the winning bidder my phone numbers and work email address (at a large public corporation) for their reassurance. I'll expect payment within two days at the most. I'm also happy to meet up if you live close to me in Wolverhampton (or where I work in Stoke) and I'd then accept cash.
It's on sale with ebay too, I'll cancel that if it sells on here.
