Hi,
I have seen a mint all original black panda dial Top Time in steel with Venus 188, original paperwork and purchase receipt from 1967.
Seller asking £1800 GB. New to Top Times but a case of love at first sight!
Is this price way over the top or realistic for a great original example? I dont mind spending on watches I love but never like to go to rediculous.

Any advice gratefully received. I understand difficult to say without pics, but would appreciate any help regarding price ranges.

would help to know which model it is, there are several Top Time using the Venus 188 - but UKP 1.8k would be high for all, even in excellent condition, although prices have been rising steadily.

1.5k would be the very, very upper end of reasonable, 1.0-1.2k would be the expected range.

nice piece w/ a Thunderball dial; strap isn't original, I think. 1.2 fair, anything above that stretches it, above 1.4 would be unreasonable for me.

but prices have been rising steadily, so we might laugh about today's prices in some years from now.

I will keep looking. If I could find the same for 1.2 I would be delighted. The two dial black panda in steel is my fav!

The watch is sold. He has a lovely website but he does not keep the stock up to date. He told me he receives 5000 emails a year and so had no time to manage an ever changing inventory.
