I need some wisdom here...I'm trying to find a Breitling brown croc strap 22/20. If you see the attached picture, that's a 24mm with tang I have. Whatever that color is, I want it in 22 and for deployant clasp.

I called my AD and he said there are 2 different browns...none in stock so I have to guess before I order. The ones on the internet seem darker, shinier, well....just different than the ones I have. The ones listed on eBay with a Tang look similar to mine, somehow the ones for a clasp look different (less variation in the brown to accentuate the croc pattern)

Can anyone point me in the right direction, part number, color....etc.

Thank you guys,..... Oh, it's for my Montbrillant 1461....:-)

As far as I know there is just one brown and that's what it is called - "brown." Shades may vary slightly.

That looks brown to me, there are other straps in the 'brown family' but noticeably different. The nature of animal skin is that there can be variations. The nature of eBay is that many are fake!

I would say that Breitling currently has two shades of brown when it comes to croc straps. There is one color called "Brown." There is a related brown color called "Gold."

A great way to get a sense of these is to head to the Breitling website, pick a model like a TO Chrono, and then use the "My Breitling Made to Measure" feature to compare the two. Here is a quick photo comparison: the first shot is the "brown" croc, the second is the "gold" croc...

Gold is noticeably lighter than brown though, the brown looks more like burgundy in some situations than it does gold.

No confusing Breitling brown with gold, not even close.

Flagada -- Just to completely nail it down, the strap in your photo has the number "756P." Using the "Made for Measure" feature for the new Navi 46mm, that number is the one associated with the "Brown" croco strap.

Thank you! I didn't realize I could see that number on the "Made to Measure". Appreciate the help....

On a side note, I just put the 24mm on the Blue Navitimer World.... I didn't realize blue and brown would go so well together!!

One last thought...

Once you have made your selection in "Made to Measure," click on "Availability and Price." You will see a reference number for the model. The next-to-last number in the series denotes the strap number. The number for a brown croc 22/20 strap is 739 P.

That Navi on the brown strap looks great!

The shades will vary.
Here is a photo of 4 croco straps that I have.
The two on the left are Breitling Gold, the other two are Brown.

If it's for a Monty 1461, and you want it brown and deployant style, you need 740P which is 22/20.
Same strap tang type would be 739P.
