So, I have an Old Navitimer (#A13322), that my wife had bought for me new about 10 years ago, and it's never skipped a beat. All of a sudden I set the time this morning and put it on, and notice that it's not working. After giving it a little shake, I can hear the movement turning, but second hand is not.

Am I in need of service, hoping to not have to spend the $$ or time, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Service interval is 5-7 years, so, whatever's happened to it, yes. The oils break down after that sort of time.

Way overdue for a service, and I wouldn't try and run it until it gets one as any problems could get worse.
