Underappreciated watch in my opinion - may well be my summer watch next year. It looks truly amazing when the bezel is aligned

Didn't grab me when it first came out but I'm liking them more and more. Especially because it's one of the few B's with a countdown bezel.

.... that can be aligned really quite nicely!

I like the Skyracer a lot. I tend to think the only reason it's not more popular is the price.

Welcome aboard neodyne, great watch you have there!

It's funny how quickly we all notice the bezel is off center isn't it :P

I know I know. I have fixed it since then. It was just a quick snap to e-mail a friend and now I'm regretting posting my imperfect ling  I promise to post a few new pix tomorrow.

It may be funny that you have all noticed the bezel but the full brushed finish seems to have gone un-noticed :? :P

Don't listen to them mate, they're only jealous.

They'll be telling you next it's missing a sub dial.

Errr..... well of course we all noticed the brushed finished! Honest! I guess it was just the misaligned bezel blinded us initially!

Actually I didn't notice straight away! Did you do that yourself or was it a professional job?

Breitling did it. My AD checked with Breitling if it would be possible to get a brushed braclet for it and he was told he could so thats why I decided to go for it. (don't really like the polished version) Unfortunatly when it arrived a week later it was the standard polished version so he contacted Breitling and they said they would make a brushed version for me and get it all tested again etc. took nearly a month in total to get it.
I could be wrong but I think its the only version like this.......my very own limited edition(please don't busrt my bubble and tell me that they do it all the time and that there are millions of them. )

No I can say yours is probably the only Breitling-brushed Skyracer out there! Yours will also be more rare as most people who want to change the finish tend to go the other way - they take a brushed watch (like a Steelfish) and get it polished. While I personally generally prefer polished watches, I must say your Skyracer looks really good. Nice going!
