Looking at that dial would make my eyes go funny, those circles are just weird.

I think we will need to see the watches in real life before we can say that 46 or 48 is too big. I'll try both watches on on Monday and let you know if it really "feels and looks" like a 46 and 48. The Special Series is, as I said a few weeks ago, a test to see if the new old bezel sells better that the Buck Rogers one. If not, no problem, it is a Special Series... If it does, and probably will, they'll change the bezel to the new old one but only after a certain timeframe off course.

I agree with you Wim. Better to judge in the flesh. Enjoy the wearing.

Slowly but surely for Breitling. Next year even more changes.

I'm a little late to the party, as I frequent the site less these days, but I'll chime in here as well.

Navitimer 46mm: Not a bad move. I have the Navi 01 and I can see it being too small for many people. A larger in-house Navi is a solid product move, and the transparent caseback is icing on the cake.

Navitimer GMT: FINALLY we get an in-house Navi "World." This should have been released years ago. I expected Breitling to put the B04 movement in the existing World case of 46mm, though. I have yet to hear anyone say, "You know what, I think I need a bigger World." Nonetheless, we have one now. Personally, I think 48mm is just too big, especially for the type of customer who is drawn to the Navi World. 48mm is Jersey Shore size and this is not that kind of watch.

Additionally, this means Breitling has to create new parts and manufacturing procedures for this brand new size. From a manufacturing and sales point of view, I just think this is all poorly executed by Breitling.

Chronomat Airborne: Overall, not a bad additional to the lineup. The color options are interesting, but I prefer the black dial. I'm not a fan of the strap at all. Also, I agree with Driver that the chrome around the date window is not ideal; it's jut not necessary. Alternatively, I do really like the subdial markings. My Chronomat is a nightmare to try and read and these look much clearer. Regarding the bezel, the jury is out. I need to see one in person, but I'm leaning towards not loving it. It's certainly an improvement over Buck Rogers, but that's not saying much.

That Bentley is just a mess. FAR too much going on. It's a hideous design.

@Sharkman - I've been wondering the same. Nothing else seems to be forthcoming, so maybe it is! :huh

I'm sure there must be more... When I spoke to the guy from Breitling Switzerland, he told me there was a new Colt Automatic as well. He's been right about the rest he told me so I'm wondering if it actually will be presented...

Was wondering the same thing. Thought there would be slew of news coming out this morning, but haven't even seen much at all from the smaller brands (Ball, Oris, etc.). Did see the new releases from Bremont, but nothing too exciting, added GMT function to a couple previous models.

The new Digital/analog Cockpit looks like the Emergency design without the transmitters, probably 48mm :?: .

For some reason, I had thought that we might be seeing some re-design on the Superocean models. Did I just get that wrong?

Hey Fred, that top lug is sticking out a bit. :)

Sorry, the Bentley reminds me of some of Zenith's crazier pieces of not long ago.
