Big thumbs up for the 46mm standard Navitimer, like Driver8 that is now on my hit list. Like the Airborne and I also like the concept of the titanium Bentley, not that it's a Bentley but the fact they are producing still in Titanium, and new designs at that.

It will be interesting to see what else arrives..................

I guess I just want to know if it will make a Navi 01 more affordable for me as people sell off their 43 mm for 46 mm :)

I highly welcome the bezel & dial design of the Airborne-s (41 mm for me). Thumbs up for the interchangeability of the 15 and 45 rider tabs, allowing a countdown bezel again (for me the count-up is obligatory but there are others too...).

I will not buy the Airborne series mainly because of the contrasting subdials. A blackeye-blue or all-blue dial would be nice. Disappearing of the inner quadrangle is also highly welcome!

Regarding date window I do not have problems with placing it between 4 and 5 but I would like a perpendicular digit printing, either here or placed at 6. Advantages: same readability for right- and lefthand wearers, breaking away from the El Primero dial pattern (which Breitling does not need to follow), that perpendicular date display would resemble the Navis based on the Valjoux 7740 and would look simply optically better too. And the last but not least one: this would allow a perpandicular-two-letter week-day display between 7 and 8, allowing a nice dial symmetry.

I wonder if I would prefer a sapphire case back with 200 m WR or the standard steel back with 300 m WR - hard decision. If the double-case-back of the new Transocean Boutique Edition would find its place on the Chronomat 41 with 200 m WR - it would be the nicest solution.

Hope "street version" Chronomat 41 will come with the newest bezel soon. Regarding inserts if it is rubber and it begins to come off the engraved fields after many years you can ask your watchmaker to remove and paint the ingravings with black laque. I'd surely choose this over sending the bezel back to the factory for renewing the rubber inserts. But maybe they are already painted from factory now.

I wonder what the Superocean series will bring - maybe a day-date chrono again??? Hope...

Does anyone have reliable info whether the bezel number ticks are really rubber inlay? The pic on the Breitling home page does not look like they are, but the straight on shot here surely looks that way.

Those bezels are so damn wide!!!! Wth. If the bezel didn't dominate the face it would look pretty nice.

Oh my. Those Steelfish Chronos do not do it for me at all!! The bezel is very weird, bland. The dials? Well I'll have to see better pics or in the metal. Assume this is the replacement for the SOC 44.

Edit - is the chimney DLC?????

The previous, steel-framed hour markers are nicer than the printed digits though...

Not sure what I think of those new superoceans. The bezel is a bit oddly large but the face is nice. Jury still out on that one for me.

I like the look of the arabics on those photo's above, quite a nice retro throwback. Not sure about the inserts though, they don't look particularly cleanly cut if you know what I mean?

Send those over to the FAKE Spotting threads....

Actually I would like to see the new steelfish in person before making any judgement, because it may just grow on me.... Do we know any case sizes on these?

If the bezel is going to be that wide it needs more interest, there's too much bare metal on them for me.
