SO, after picking up the score of the week with a blue croco deployment (see "Did I get taken on a fake Croc deployment?" about 20 threads down, thanks to Rene for calming my worry), here I am again with a clasp for the sucker.
I have not seen a new-style deployment clasp in person (this is the one with the raised logo), but I have a hard time believing they would change the font face that dramatically and not engrave as deeply as they did on the older model clasps. The new one in the pictures is a 20mm (plastic covering the logo), and I included pictures of the old-style 18mm just for comparison sake (older one is on top in photos of two, all solo photos but one are of the new clasp).
I don't THINK it's a fake, but the serif on the B in BREITLING (as well as just the depth and lack of consistency in the font face) just strikes me as odd, as it doesn't quite have the elegance of the older model (and I'd prefer this to be a fake than someone over there concluding that this looks better).
If you need more detailed photos from different angles, let me know and I'll post 'em ASAP.
