Hey guys. I just got a used Chronomat. All seemed well when I got it, but now a few hours later, the chrono minutes stop at about 5 minutes. The hour marker stops around the 30 minute. The second hand moves fine.

I know this watch sat a long time. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, it needs a service.

If it has sat for a long time then the oils may have migrated but in this case it sounds like they have broken down and are not providing any lubrication. As a result the chronograph can't overcome the friction and is stopping.

Alright. That's likely to cost $500+?

Probably, it depends on where you are - regional prices are on Breitling's website.
