Looks OK, in fact it looks like a nice untouched example. Often the bridge and / or caseback have been engraved to try and add value, although at this time (1946) both would have been blank like these.

Not sure that the gold hour and minute hands are original, more used to seeing black, but it looks nice and original.

Why a 'stainless steel back' engraved back ? , wasnt this only on GP models or also on chromed pieces ?

Where early pieces indeed marked 'stainless steel' (when was stainless stell first used) or 'staybrite' ?

The 'breitling' on the dial is awfully close to the subdial , why not centered better ?

Missed the caseback, but the dial looks pretty consistent with others of the era, no?

case is chromed (and has been replated once already), so caseback fits ?
