Are we in love with our rubber and stainless straps that we don't get into the Panerai-style strap obsession?

I'm looking for people that have popped vintage bands on their shiny watches. I love the contrast and the "de-blinging" of a watch like this. Lemme see the photos!

While the Superocean Pro, with it's brushed finish isn't very "Blingy"
I put on this shark strap a while ago and have had it on ever since.
It kind of fits with the whole concept of the watch.

Give me a week or two (for arrival) and I can hopefully raise your eyebrows... ;)

I'm gladd you brought this up. I want to see more leather and Croco strap options as well. I am working on something along these lines to be able to post something shortly. Don't get me wrong, I love the the SS bracelet options for these watch, but would like to see some other combos too. :D

I think that proves it for me - Pannies look best of Pannie straps and Breitlings look best on Breitling straps. They look great as they were meant to be.

I actually agree, my PAMs look much better with those particular straps, however there are excellent after market straps that could go very well on a Breitling, as long as they are not the vintage type. Only Panerai seem to be able to pull those off for some reason.

Nice swapping there Altair. I agree with Driver, the Breitling strap is without a doubt the best looking one (for the 6.75, that is) but I also think it's nice to have some options. Both the first and second pic looks good to me!
