Discontinued for a few years now, it may not have an in house movement and probably won't appeal to those who like Breitlings newest models but IMHO still one of their finest along with the Ti Chrono Avenger, very good value pre-owned too. Bearing in mind the faceted bracelet is a work of art, it looks stunning on almost any strap combination and the fact that it has the best Lume on any Breitling I have ever seen the biggest mystery to me is why they are not more popular!?
I've flipped a few in the past but the collection never seems compete without one so I'm glad to have got my old watch back on the wrist again. 8)

Steve!

How are you doing?

The brushed BB looks great on your wrist. Very classy piece.

Not bought any high end stuff for a while, but have grabbed a few nice other pieces which I won't worry about whacking as we load our trucks.

I had a Citizen Altichron arrive today. Really quite funky and the softest most pliable rubber strap ever!

Will be passing through your manor late on Monday 24th on way to do some work in Singapore. :superman:

Take care

Dave

Very nice, Shalako! I know the feeling about not having one in the collection, I flipped my Blackbird (which I bought in trade with yourself!) not so long ago. Might have to start looking for one again...

Thank you all for the nice comments......

Cheers Col, there's a nice one on here from a UK seller.

Dave - I've sent you a pm re: the 24th......

Willows - That was a long, long time ago, as you can see my enthusiasm for the Blackbird has not diminished. 8)

Beautiful watch! I had two of them, and I wish that I had kept them almost every day.. I'll replace one eventually, but yours is a great example! Image
And I also had a blacksteel version as well, sadly I don't have any pictures any more, but there are a few on the forum.

The Black eye blue dial is really outstanding, if I still had my black dial I'd trade with you in a heartbeat!
