Hello all I am new to Breitlings and am thinking of purchasing a used Blacksteel Avenger Skyland. Model M13380. I know there are a ton of fakes out there , including boxes and papers, so I just wanted to post a few pictures and see if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks ahead of time for any help you can offer.

Based on the lume, probably real, but the fakes are very good so make sure that watch and papers match.

Looks ok to me too, but papers are important for this one. There aren't good fake papers so if you have a picture of the full package with papers that would be good.

Also since I am so new to this, I would like to get an opinion of a ballpark average these are going for. I know prices are subjective and people will pay anything for what they want, so I just want the range you would be willing to pay for this watch in excellent condition.

Check out chrono24, will give you a good idea.

As Nate says, the papers are real so just make sure that the serial numbers match.

The FAQs recommend checking completed sales on eBay (the green numbers in a completed search) and dealer asking prices on Chrono24, recognising that thoe are only asking prices.

Check also the back of the watch; I noticed recently, that (some?) fakes, have a R with a straight leg, while a genuine one has an R with a bent leg.

That's the most important thing.
Don't be fooled by a 100% score, as most of the transactions can be buys.
Always check the detailed feedback, for sales.

Prices on Ebay can sometimes end a bit on the high side, because (usually new) people get into a bidding war.
I've seen prices on Ebay gone way beyond Chrono24 dealer asking prices.
So take your time to find out a normal average price of the model you desire.

Okay guys thanks for the advice. Now maybe this is a rookie question but what #s am I matching? The production numbers or serial #? Where is the serial # on the watch because I do not see it?

The seller claims he has keep this as a collectors piece and this is a picture of the back.

You are trying to match serial number in the warranty book (the printed / written number, not the punched one), the COSC certificate (top right) and the watch.

The serial number on the watch is on the caseback, generally below the model number and / or LE number. It will be lightly engraved.

edit, you can see it (but not read it) on the photo that you just posted - at a guess it's 2354963.

Looks like numbers all match. That would work for me. 8)

Thanks so much for all your help everyone. I feel a lot better about making an offer now. Hopefully I can seal the deal and join the breitling club. I will keep you posted on the outcome.
