G'day,

Apologies if this has been asked before, I have just sent my watch to be serviced and I have owned it for 6.5 years (August 2007)

When I bought it I also decided to get another strap, this is being fitted at the same time. Very good condition but does have a couple of light scratches to the glass (I'm waiting to find how much a replacement glass is, I'm not sure I am going to bother as they are relatively minor)

Now, I thought I would take a butchers on on-line in order to gauge value as it might be 'time' for a change. The prices for these seem to be more than I was expecting, such as here for example:

Is there any way to get a decent estimate of value - thanks in advance

Also here is a picture before it was sent off, as posts are always better with pictures ;)

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

The FAQs recommend checking completed sales on eBay (the green numbers) and dealer asking prices on Chrono24 for an indication of value. Many dealer asking prices shown online are just that - asking prices.

Thanks for that, eBay was probably a better indication - still have not sold the same as mine in some time it would seem.

Depends on how you define "some time" - a white one on calf sold on ebay.com with a best offer below $3,200 in mid December, a black one on calf sold for $3,300 on January 1st.
