I dont like the idea of a red SOH(C). It appeals to me as a dressier watch, and a color like that would make it too sporty. Maybe something like a white dial with a slate gray bezel?

And definitely no logo or signature ANYWHERE, including the back. As much as I like this site, I think it would just be too cheesy.

I'm good with a SOHC as I don't have one yet and I can go down to a 46 without crying too much ;)

As long as I get a numbered display back I'm good :D

EDIT, I've got the SOHC graphics ready to go for color combination suggestions.

Here's an example, not my favorite but it gives you an idea:

Green Bezel, Slate Gray Dial

That Green and Grey doesn't work for me.

Would love to see Driver8's idea of the black dial, red subs, red bezel. I think that the red should be a deep red (at least on the bezel) rather than a bright scarlet though.

Wow, you guys haven't been working at all since I last logged in! On something else than this thread, that is...

I had the Steelfish in mind from the first place, but the SOHC is a great choice. I'm all in. And as some of you have stated, I also think a green bezel is too "Rolexish". Apart from that I'd probably be up for most color combos regarding dial/subdials/bezel.

I agree a DB would be really cool, but I also agree it would probably be quite a few bucks extra. Maybe next time?

I think a leather strap is a good start for keeping cost down and then everyone can add a bracelet later if desired. But - if the reason for going with leather is to keep cost down, why not go with the cheaper OR?

No logo is also quite wise I think - but if admins suggestion of xx/yy is possible to get discretely on the dial is possible, I'm all for it.

And I totally support the idea of giving no. 1 to admin!

And last but not least - excellent work started there Roff! I look forward to hear the reply!

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the green either. For the record I've been talking with my AD about doing a LE run as well. I wanted to work on group buy level pricing. I hope that is what you are doing as well Roff.

That said, is this what you guys had in mind?

Steel case on black croc with deployant sound good? I'm headed to a long lunch but will mock it up when I get back.

I like that colour combo better,

In terms of feasibility - can we just work through one stream for now please.

I don't care how we go about ordering / which AD gets involved / etc, but I want to have a single voice with Breitling.

I am not going the AD route - I have some more direct contacts, as do others on here.

This all sounds great. Im in for the SOHC. Black/Red or Black/Yellow sound good to me. While I love green, I agree with others that it is too rolexish. I also like the idea of going strap, either rubber/leather/croc as the mesh was never really my favourite :)

I have to say, I LOVE that mock-up of the deep red and black!
I think there seems to be general agreement NOT to mimic the Rolex Anniv. Sub, so a green bezel is OUT for me as well.

OK, now that I see the red black combo, i like it. What is the retial price of the SOHC? I ask because unlike all our other Breitlings, we not only wont get our 20%+ off but are probally looking at a premium above MSRP.

PS I already have a black croco, how about a black OR (I dont have one of those!)

OK, let me see what i can do. Here is the SOHC. Some matching red stitching on the croc would really set it off ;)
