I am looking for an alternative strap or bracelet for my Navitimer.

The steel bracelet (443A) is too blingy for me and the croc strap on deployant is quite uncomfortable.

Now, can anyone suggest a strap or (non-blingy) bracelet, which looks nice and is comfy at the same time?

Thank you.

you are refering to tang buckle in general right?

Or do you feel that the calf skin on deployant is more comfortable than the croc on deployant?

I was but the calf deployment strap is very comfortable also I have all of them, also the new breitling rubber with the colored sides are super comfy and have a calf look, these are strictly tang buckle

I have an option to buy an inexpensive calf strap but was thinking the calf might be similar to croc.

Is calf softer then croc?

Yes calf is softer than croc from the outset, but if you persist with it, croc will break in and soften up quite nicely overy time too. Personally I'd say persevere with the OEM straps as they are superb quality, and before long you will find they mould themselves to your wrist very nicely.

My OEM croc on deployment is just as comfortable as my calf tang strap. You just have to kind of be patient and let it break in, it helps to mount the watch on the travel pillow for a day or two to help form the strap.

If it is the strap itself that is uncomfortable on deployant then it likely does just need to 'wear in' - it can take several weeks because the strap is so thick. Some people with smaller wrists find the deployant itself uncomfortable because it doesn't curve enough for their wrists in which case try a tang or an aftermarket butterfly style deployant to see what suits you best.

First step is definitely to figure out where the discomfort is coming from - strap or clasp.

It appears that the discomfort is coming from the strap itself as it doesn't bent enough into the deployant.

The deployant, while not extremely comfortable either, is fitting my wrist OK.

I might give a calf strap a try or switch to a rubber on deployant.

Would anyone know the code of other bracelets fitting the Navi (other then 443A).

Thank you.

There aren't any others designed for it. You would have to go with something with straight end links - the mesh Breitling for example, or aftermarket.

Here's a few pics of the mesh on the World. I love this look, and is very comfortable. IMO Breitling could have put the mesh on the World as an option from the factory and would have sold well. ImageImage
