Hi guys,

I am new in the forum and I have this watch (photos at the end of the post). I bought from a friend, both of us are watch fans, so not complete newbies :) The watch works great and so on, everything is OK according to me, but check the back! The engraving is wrong, even the reference number is correct. I will be glad to see your opinions :) according to me, AD and two of the best watchmakers it is a genuine watch. I am not sure about the story of the watch, this one is a model of at least 5-7 years old, so maybe at some point someone change the back with replica one, even I am not able to find any photos of replica with such engraving. Or it might be production defect, which will make it very interesting :) please help me with opinions. Please note that photos are made with my phone, I try to make as good as possible and paste lots of photos of the watch itself, not only the back. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I am not sure if this is the right subforum for this topic, if not, please moved it to the right one.

Well if the concern is with the caseback then we need to see the caseback! A head on dial photo would be helpful, but from what I see the watch is real.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

As per PM, please don't double post. Threads merged and both moved to the right section.

Caseback looks fine to me.

Yeh, case back is fine itself, but it says "chronogaphe certifie chronometre" and the watch is not Chrono :) It might be case back from Chronomat, but the reference number is correct, it is for Windrider Headwind....
Any ideas?

Probably just a factory error.

"chronographe certifie chronometre" = COSC certified

Yes, but COSC certified chronograph Rene, non chromos should say "chronometre officiellement certifie" (officially certified chronometer).

Hi guys :)

Thanks for the replies! I post the same topic in WUS and the opinions are similar.
Does anyone know how can I contact Breitling via email? I am searching their website but the only way to contact is via AD or real mail or fax. I really want to have Breitling opinion on that, but it will be much easier if I can send them email :)

Thanks!
