I hope this isn't considered hi-jacking this thread but I thought it would be appropriate here. Is the Super Avenger Limited, also nicknamed "Blacksteel" like the Avenger Skyland version? Is the only difference for the Super Avenger version the fact that it is larger or are there other differences? Should most AD's be able to get this watch for me? Thanks

Yes, as long as they aren't already spoken for.

Well all we have is photos, but yes, it appears to be the same look as the Avenger Skyland, hosted in a DLC treated SA case with a minor change to the 12 o'clock subdial.

I wasn't allowed a copy of the original picture that started all this madness, but one did get posted in that thread - http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4083

I still find it so strange that they made it look so much like the AS. Its gonna be a beast though.

My regular AD is expecting a SA Blacksteel in during the next few weeks and will let me know when it lands.

It's not on my own wanted list so if anyone else in the UK (Midlands) is struggling to find one, let me know and I'll put you in touch with my AD.

Nick

Interesting news, Nick.

I don't think any are scheduled to land out here yet. From what I can tell, they will be coming, but haven't been allocated yet and arrival dates are still up in the air.

My AD spoke to Breitling on Monday about one and was given a UK price of £3,400 and no confirmed delivery but was told maybe nearer to December although he has read September in the notes.

I spoke with my AD today about an ETA on the SA Blacksteel and she was unable to give an definite date. I have been discussing the watch with her for a while now and she said that they will not be giving a discount since this is a limit edition and that they have already have had several inquiries. I am not sure if she is being completely honest with me or if she is just trying to sell this watch at full retail. Any suggestions on how to handle them?
