Hi Guys , maybe someone knows what I am talking about and can point me in the right directio to get them

I am looking for a soft plastic protective sleeve that slides over the watch head , leaving the strap open
not a zip lock bag but a clear plastic sleeve that goes over the watch head

When I was in Singapore and Japan the vintage shops use them on ever watch they have to protect them from handling and micro scratches and I thought that was a great idea for a little extra protection for storing my own but I cant seem to find that stuff anywhere

does anyone know what I am talking about , whats its called and where I can get it ?

Not sure if this is what you are referring to.
This is basically a thicker version of cling film.
Not sure where to get get it from but I know a couple of watch manufacturers in Hong Kong and can ask them, if this is what you are looking for.

You know a couple of watch manufacturers in hk? Do they make genuine or fakes? Hehe

No, they actually make very respectable own branded pieces, even if based on Chinese movements. Chinese watches (real, not copies) happens to be another horological interest of mine besides Breitling. Quite a contrast, I know.

Has Hong Kong changed much since '97? Yes, tremendously.
The Royal Post of Hong Kong is now Hong Kong Post. The Royal Police of Hong Kong is now Hong Kong Police.
A few more sky scrapers have popped up on Kowloon side where they would have been in the way of low flying planes in the days of Kai Tak Airport.
Everything is about double the price and the bank's fund managers are no longer getting year end bonuses that look similar to my telephone number (well, most of them anyway, a few still do)
Other than that, not much. The property developers are still pretty much running the place and the grandmothers are still queuing up either in front of the banks in the morning to buy some "get me rich overnight" shares or outside the Jockey Club to buy some Mark Six lotto tickets

Ahhh, makes me nostalgic. Lived in HK for 3 years (1999 - 2001) @ Dynasty Court, Old Peak Road. I trust the amahs still gather in Central on Sundays and finding knock-offs of all types is still a big sport for visitors.

Yes, Central is still fill of amahs, that has not changed too much Maybe a few more from Indonesia now days and a few less from Philippines.
Less and less knock-offs in Hong Kong these days (thank God). China Mainland tourists prefer the genuine stuff and are prepared to pay for it.
