There is a very good fake of this model out there. I wouldn't buy one these from a random dude with no papers......

I wouldn't trust an AD to verify this watch, the fake is too good (and ADs are frequently not great). The date wheel definitely looks off, would be surprised if this was real.

A lot of ADs are just sales people and don't know all the little details of the watch. I personally wouldn't go for that deal, but it is ultimately your call. If there are any red flags with the watch, it is not worth the risk in my opinion.

If you put a Swiss movement and a Chinese movement next to one another then a watchmaker could tell the difference visually, 90%+ of sales people couldn't. I also suspect that the better quality fakes have lower grade Swiss movements which wouldn't necessarily look any different.

I wouldn't buy that watch at any price.

I would avoid one of these without proper paperwork as the fake of this model is very accurate and would fool most staff at an AD.

But for the record, the telltales to look out for are poor/blobby lume markers on the dial ring, rounded inner corners on the bezel numerals and serial number range 1342xxx.

Can someone put more photos of fake Abyss, just for us who are interested in buying real watch,to notice some difference.

What you think is this real one?

Same answer as before - only buy with proper paperwork, the fake is virtually indistinguishable from the real one.
