I am wondering if my watch needs service. Today I found that the analog time was out of sync with the LCD time. What could cause this?

Try the guidance here - viewtopic.php?f=12&t=32755, that should do it.

When was the last time that the battery was replaced? I am not knowledgeable about Breitling Quartz, but if it helps;

If the analogue is synced with the digital display in the Aerospace, then they can only get out of sync if the battery is on the way out. I have noticed this on some other makers Quartz synced digital displays. If you have to go through a syncing process on initialisation of the watch, (a reset at 0) then retry this process and see if its set correctly and adjusts to the sync point without issue. Watch it over a space of a few days and see if it gets out of sync once more. Try this first.

Some makers give out a waggle in the second hand movement to indicate battery life is going, where as some will give you a battery level mode. Not sure what Breitling do for this, if anything.

Thanks for your replies. I got it sync again. Is there some warning if the battery needs replacement?

The LCD display will flash.

I had to sync my watch 4 times today. It was between 10 to 15 minutes difference from LCD to Analog. Any ideas what the issue could be?

If you don't think that you inadvertently did it via the crown (unlikely I know) then I would get it checked out by Breitling, that doesn't sound right.

If you are doing correctly, and the battery is not showing a low reserve, I would send it in for service. One question though. This may sound silly, but I will post it anyway. Is the Analogue trailing 10 -15 minutes behind the Digital display or ahead?

If the low battery indicator isn't flashing then that's unlikely to solve the problem.

My trusty Aerospace suddenly started jumping out of sync and had me confused. Then I saw it jump !

Back in olden times I had a sony Trinitron TV (this story dates back a good few years, probably 10), I would leave my watch on top of it. When turning the tube on it would 'bong', the tube getting degaussed, this would make the hands on my Aerospace jump out of sync !

Or perhaps the EOL indicator is not working properly. I have an Airwolf and I wasn't "warned" by my watch that the battery was low. Normally my display should flash like on the B1 but it didn't... Had the battery changed by Breitling and everything was ok again.
