That's about a 15% discount which isn't bad in the US these days - Breitling are clamping down on discounts. If you want to check pricing contact member jnelson3097 for contact details of Govbergs, a forum sponsor that comes highly recommended.

'Good' is subjective, there's nothing about the watch that makes it better or worse than any other Breitling so if it's the one that you like then it's the right one for you. As for other things to consider, not sure what else you are looking for - just be sure to try it on to make sure that the size works and that it looks right on your wrist. If you are buying from an AD you are getting all of the papers so nothing to worry about there.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

IMO I think the best thing to do is try to find 5-6 watches in the price range that you are willing to spend and line them up and see which one you think looks the best.

This will give you an idea of what your money is buying you an options at that level. You really need to compare apples to apples.

Congrats. I think this is probably Breitling's most sensible mechanical watch...and it's a real beauty as well!

Congrats on the new watch, it's great piece! If you manually wind it, by turning the crown, 40 full turns is a full wind, you could go more, you won't hurt the watch as you cannot overwind an automatic. Then it should last the whole 42 hrs.

Had the same issue with my SA 2 but seems to be getting better with time. I juess it needs time to break in. Brookstone looked like it had a nice winder that received good reviews. Hoping Santa brings one this year.
