I think it's the first time I see an original strap with the original marking

Straps are rare , but not unheard off , i have one myself as well ;-)

It's a beautiful watch, I don't think the box is original to the watch though, as I have never seen it with an 806 Navitimer, as far as I know it belongs to an 1806, but somebody might know more about that then I do.

There should be some kind of inlay for the watch, and I believe that the inlay that was there was for an 1806, hence it has been removed.

Kurt, I agree. This is the Videocassette-Case from a big-case-watch. I personally know this box only from the LED/LCD (9106/9416).

They used these boxes starting around 1970 with many different models so no reason to think it's wrong for this Navitimer.

I had one with my Chronomatic 1808.

The 9106 LCD Navitimer is just about the same identical size at the 806 so no reason to think it's just for large case watches.

I have one of these boxes and the hole in it is 806 sized, I have also seen them with a larger hole ( I assume for 1806) and the one in Paul's picture above is different again.

This set is wonderful by the way :-)
