That's unimpressive project! Can't wait to see the results. I love the pult.

I would like to see the 7740 movement project come together also. I would guess that within the last 10 years I have had well over 100 request for this movement or where someone might find one. My standard answer is "you will have to buy a complete or parts watch to get one".
I had a cal 12 Pult that I sold about 7 years ago. Should not have done that!

Nice Pult Chrono-Matic , but you might change the hands , you can find a matching set by asking to Marcus Alexander from Watchcoaustralia, they had a bunch of those orange hands .

Yes I forgot to tell Lester's new ebay ID : teddy4paws.

Parts shipped by Lester on 29/10/2013 ... and after 4 weeks they did not arrive . We have investigated from both sides and ???? From UK side packing has passed to the overseas postal service and from french side it is unknown . I expect it is stuck to customs or something like that . Bloody hell, the result of 4 years of hunt :guns: :guns: :guns:

After more than 6 weeks the parts arrived . French Post really is a pity, they were unable to track the packing despite Lester had duly registered it .
Now I have my 2 V7740 ready to assemble kits ...

One reason I don't ship to France any longer.

Lester's packages to me in Austria take about 3 days to arrive, so it clearly isn't Royal Mail ;)
and it can't be customs, Phil - there simply is no customs check inside the EU ?

Lester packages his items with a lot of care and the normal time is 3-4 days within Europe . There is no customs clearance thanks to Shengen treat but random controls can occur . In my case it is clearly a proof of the great performance of French Post . Their answer to my written claim arrived 6 days after physical delivery and it was a pity , they made a confusion between non trackable and non signed delivery . The only thing is ... happy end!
