Hi

Im looking to get my Crosswind overhauled and perhaps go for a change from my current brown croc strap.

When I bought the watch it had a black calf skin strap and im so used to brown im concerned I'll like it less with a non brown strap

As the straps etc are so expensive does anyone have a good way of visualising the options on straps and deployment etc

A

Not for that model, but take a look at the configurator on Breitling.com for different straps with different coloured dials. Browsing the gallery here will also give you ideas.

Of course, you just need a Bergeon 6767F to change the straps. Bracelet end links are unique to the case geometry and it may be harder to find the two tone bracelet for the Crosswind Special now as Breitling likely don't have any stock left.

Hi Roffensian

I've now submitted my Crosswind LE chrono for a rebuild service and i need to choose the strap. I'm sold on the brown Croco as i know it looks fantastic.

I like the look of the deployment and a change is good from the pin buckle, however my questions is this.

Do i need to consider anything when using a deployment on a Croco strap, other than the look? are they much bulkier? do people feel they're less secure etc?

you opinion is appreciated

Andy

They are just as secure as a tang and (for me) more comfortable. Search the threads here and you'll find that some people find the deployant too big on smaller wrists because of the way that it curves. A new strap will take a couple of weeks to soften up and adjust to your wrist so be prepared for that when you first get it.

Buckle type is a personal preference. I like the look and feel of deployant personally.
