There's something about those hands I really like. Nice job! Memorable date on the back for me because I spent most of that year in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Gotta love those hands!! I do for sure. :D 1970 I was 5 and you were calling air strikes. Wearing a tropical band I bet. LOL.

First off....Great Watch! It must be satisfying to completing a project.

This one'e important to show to people who might be intrigued by the idea of going vintage, but just can't handle owning a piece with the "age spots" which many vintages possess. Nice restoration and yes, I count myself among the group I just described, and I don't think I'm alone.

I have been on the fence for sometime about trying a vintage piece but always concerned about this same thing. However, restorations like this keep me interested. The 810 actually draws me a bit more than the 806 Navi.

Thanks so much. So glad to have a nice finished product.
Ahh, the age spots, my grandma would say that if you are lucky enough to be on this earth long enough than you too will have a few age spots. LOL. Better than the old dial!

Got to say these 810's don't seem to get the love like the 806/809 big boys but just you wait. Time is coming when they are going to be like Sally Fields. "You like me, You really LIKE me"!! Then it will be like Tom Cruise baby, "Show Me The Money"!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
