Awesome my friend! I refurb with Garryflex, just watch out on those facets of the bracelet that they dont lose there sharp edges. Well done.

The Blackbird was the most notably all-brushed Windrider from the late '90s... didn't realise the Headwind had that finish also. A Headwind with a brushed finish and black dial would make a nice big brother to an old Blackbird, which is a watch I covet!

Headwind was made in both, polished and brushed (brushed only in SS).

One of the best "bang for the buck" pieces out there, in my opinion. Mine says hello..

I like the polished look on strap. For bracelet use, though I really like that matte/brushed look and as Murphy pointed out, those facets really look great with that finish. Congrats on a great pickup.

That really looks great. You did a very nice job. I've been thinking of doing the same to my Skyland.

Do you mind if I ask what grit you used? Was it the 240, the brown block?

Cheers! Thanks for posting!

Ross
