Search for Valjoux 72 Navitimer Supermoto, its the original navitimer, made for 18 months or so and this one looks like its in pristine condition

I assume it was you, not too many people around that have the collection you have and are willing to pay top dollar for a top piece, if it wasnt you there's some serious competition out there these days

and a very early piece, still without reference number. what Rene defined as the "Broendum-Navitimer".
exceptional condition, though the lume on the hour hands seems replaced.

The Breitling company itself had offered to a friend of mine 18000, - EUR for this Navitimer,
and said to him, there were produced only 100 pieces, not 1000 as we had assumed.

Well, it wasn’t me, I reduced my bid minutes before the auction end, because I didn’t feel good about it, and that’s what you have to do in a situation like that.

Reasons.: I didn’t get proper answers to my questions from seller, and when I went through some pictures he had sent me, I had serious doubts whether they had been worked on, there was to many spots when I blew them up that I didn’t like, but I have to point out that this is my personal opinion, I can be wrong.

The last 1954 that sold on eBay, I bought at $ 8.100,-, and that watch was the best 1954 Valjoux 72 AOPA Navitimer I have ever seen, definitely better than the one that just ended, so my best guess is that somebody out there with money to burn just wanted it badly.

Neither is true, I have been in contact with them twice, offered them to buy my collection, and they won't pay even close to that amount. If he have it in writing I would love to see it.

And I can guarantee you that not only 100 was made.

Ok, easy my friend. Fred handled it well. Let's keep it civil and not get carried away with the language. I think we all know that documentation will not surface to support this claim. Some people just want to hear themselves talk. As the Beatles said to eloquently, Let It Be.

its not my opinion, its only what two people of Breitling said when they visited him personally in his home special for this Navitimer.

Kurt and Dracha, why you think for sure that more than 100 were produced?
