Just as a little update...

...it's the tungsten head that never ceases to amaze me. Despite being worn as a beater (although I don't subject my beaters to anything THAT bad anyway) it is still absolutely mirror-shine perfect. Tungsten is a truly amazing material, as a couple of months ago (despite being careful with all my watch) I actually caught the M25 on a metal doorframe, and then (sods law) I also clipped a lug on a brick wall! Result? Absolutely nothing at all! Not a ding, not a scratch, not a mark of any kind! I've never seen anything like it.

It's a truly remarkable metal, and an excellent watch that so far is doing exactly what I wanted it to. Very pleased.

Hi Driver,

It's coming up on 3 years with the M25, please share a brief "long-term road test" report on how the watch has stood up in terms of movement performance and tungsten toughness.
:superman:
Thanks!

I actually sold my M25 around Feb this year. Basically I picked up a Panerai and found I was wearing that a lot more... and the similarity in design kind of made me question keeping both. (Plus a few of my friends used to like saying, "Are you wearing the Panerai, or the Panerai-copy today!) The thing is, I actually miss my M25, just for it's amazing durability : never a single worry about scratches or damage.

In answer to your question, when I came to sell it, it was absolutely immaculate. The seal-skin strap was showing a bit of wear, but the watch head was mint. 2.5 years of wear as a semi-beater and it still looked brand new : I really can't recommend tungsten enough.
