Wow, that must have taken a lot of work to put together.

Man, every time I voted, it was like, "what's wrong with me? Apparently everybody likes the OTHER one more". I must have an odd taste in watches or something, because on almost ALL the votes, I was in the slim minority.

... and no Airwolf. :( B01, though. Kinda close.

One match-up's figures that are surprising me a little is the Chronomat GMT 44....., especially when compared to how the Chronomat 01 is doing.

The Chronomat 01 is storming away from the very well known Chrono-matic 44 that it's up against, and yet the Chronomat GMT 44 is losing against the much less well known Monty 1903. This is despite the fact that the GMT 44 is essentially a Chronomat 01 but with the added GMT functionality in the in-house 04 movement, and a slightly less polarising bezel. Interesting.

The polls run until Sunday - per the first post in this thread and the deadline at the top of every voting thread

Indeed, I must be blind. Thanks for your kindness and for taking the time to answer such a stupid question

A little surprised that the Evo is struggling so much against the BB -

That may be true, but for me the reasons are simple. Big date function and brushed faceted bracelet.

And this morning they were tied :brewing:

There are some really close ones this time - we may end up needing a 'vote-off' in a couple of cases.

Glad to see some beautiful vintage pieces getting some recognition.
809 vs steelfish is a tough one though!

It's OK, Roff is used to that by now, he answered many of my questions like that :-)

Appreciate the effort Roff. Some obvious choices but I did surprise myself by voting for more vintage pieces than I originally anticipated. So much depends on the competing watches. Some definite close calls to date. This is fun!

Just an observation, but the numbers of people getting involved with this little bit of fun is considerably less than last year. :? Last year the round one match-ups attracted (generally speaking) 60 to 70 votes each. This year it seems to be nearer 30 to 40..... which considering that's an extra year of members is a bit of a surprise to me.

I guess people are just less interested in things like this and forum watch projects than they used to be......

I know the last project was a bust unfortunately Driver but are you considering attempting another one anytime soon? I for one would be interested...

Shame about the voting. I guess bigger doesn't necessarily mean more active or interested.

Hadn't checked the stats, but did think that there had been much less voting / discussion this time. Oh well, we tried......
