I wanted to ask what you guys thought of me having my watchmaker make a little change to my Seawolf. I love the Code Yellow and thought I could sort of make my own. Here are some photo-shopped pics. Keep in mind, it can be changed back if need be. There are 2 options, painting just the tip or the sweep hand. I'm leaning to doing the entire hand.

Just the tip.

That's a really cool innovative idea! I think if you did the tip of the second hand it would be just enough to add a little color, for me the entire hand would be a little too much IMO. Very cool though!

Thanks Matt, I know most would say just the tip but I'm a loud kind of guy and I like to stand out...I may just do the tip.

It's only my opinion, and in no way did I mean it would be off-putting to do the whole hand, I just meant for me. :)
It would look cool either way, I say go for it!

Not at all Matt, that's why I threw it out there. I wanted to get feedback.

If you're going to do it, then just make sure you consider the fact that Breitling do not take kindly to modifications, so you may run into difficulty come service time. They may replace the original style hand. (Obviously a titanium Seawolf is now out of warranty so you don't have to worry about voiding that).

That said, I agree it looks good (both options), but if I was going to do it, I'd go for the whole hand.

I think it's a superb mod! How about getting one of the new leather straps with yellow inside and edge varnishing? It would continue the yellow theme.
