I find my taste in watches maturing since I've joined this forum, especially for the Breitling brand. I've also started to have a passion for limited pieces that one doesn't see everyday. So I just wanted to see who else likes the limited pieces and are willing to share some pics. I'll start with my newest installment, a crosswind LE. This is definitely a watch that I knew nothing about before I joined this forum, and since I've acquired it, I realize that most of these pieces are becoming harder and harder to come by and It's people like us that keep them from being obsolete. :lingsrock:

Sorry for the blurry pic!

The SOHC LE, a watch I sold after great deliberation and in the end I probably didn't need too. Loved that watch, very versatile. Looks very sporty on the OR but very classy on the mesh IMO!

I have mixed feelings on the LE's. I like them, but I don't think the modern Breitling LE's that have 2,000 piece runs are all that limited. The 500 piece ones definitely seem more rare. Here are the LE's I have or have had in my collection at some point.

Nice guys! Keep 'em coming! I realize that some are more limited than others, but the way I see it is there is something like 7 billion plus people in the world, all the sudden 1000 or even 2000 seems very small.

I have a number of LEs from Breitling and other brands. In some cases the LE element adds to the appeal, but usually only if it is actually different - like a display back. I discount most of the 'LE element' factor of modern Breitlings simply because there are too many made for them to be really considered limited.

That makes cense Roff, I do wish they would use the display back on more of there LEs, but I guess then they wouldn't be as exclusive at that point.

I love my limited edition but I really haven't worn it much. I love that there's only 50 of them.
