My son who is 27, last year walked into a Breitling AD with his girl friend and wanted to look at a few models, he was wearing a big Invicta russian diver ( just a fun rubber strap summer knock around watch). The sale's ladie was not at all nice and would not show him anything either unless he was going to buy it. They left and he was a little pissed. A couple months later they go back into the same store and he had on his Breitling emergency mission................IT WAS A WHOLE NEW BALLGAME! Same women with a brand new way of dealing with the same two people. He told me she had out at one time four different models and was as nice as pie. Funny thing is most of the sales people could not afford the watches they sell.

My AD has left me alone with multiple B's all out at once while she has to attend to something else. I dont expect everywhere to be like that, but places that treat you poorly should be run out of business.

Maybe he is like me, there is no other AD dealers around, I am talking within 2-3 hours, if I want one that bad, I will next day ship it from another AD over the phone

I only go to the AD to make decisions by trying pieces on.

Plus you can save a little more money calling and ordering.

Espo's suggestion earlier is the right way to go. It might only be the sales guy/woman that's bad, not the entire manager/store. I've had similar experiences in other types of stores (but my AD has been 100% all the time). When the sales person has been completely uninterested in helping me or even cheeky, I've asked for the sales manager. Then, kindly explained my treatment (anger will do you no good) and mentioning what I had intended to buy - but that I now have to go somewhere else to spend my money.

There are no unique shops in the world, everything is possible to get somewhere else. And sadly I find it more and more common that sales people don't understand it's their customers who's paying their salary - not the shop manager.

I am always amazed at poor customer service. I see it everywhere and it just drives me crazy. With watches you really need to see it on your writs.

Everybody has offered good advice and I basically concur.

One AD for another brand, Hag Teuer (I am just jesting as I have one already), lost a sale because the guy was an d!ck. He was nice enough to show me some watches and I did try them on, but his whole attitude while we were negotiating price just put me off. I decided this was not the store for me.

This turned out to be a smart move on my part as I ended up a few stores down and had a great experience with a salesman and walked out with my Aerospace.

I was tempted to go back and 'window shop' some more but I didn't have the time.

I'm sure you've seen the post, but how about the Group buy? I wish I had know about it sooner. Now I know and I'll be ready next time I buy.
