One more question: I seem to notice some differences on the style of the bracelet of the emergency. One seems roundish, the other more squared. Is the squared one on the later models?
Is there a way to tell which one has the super quartz?
Any other major differences between the older and the newer version?

Early emergency came with Pro 1 bracelet, later on it came with the pro 2 bracelet.
Normal quartz model was '95-'01(http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... al_33.html) and SQ was made from '02-'10, and generally still on sale until ~'12 (http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... al_35.html)

All of this discussion on the model in what is ostensibly a WTB thread is going to confuse potential sellers. Try and keep this thread 'clean' - what you want, and any conditions. All of your questions have been answered in other threads that can be found using search or you can start new threads in the main Breitling section, and you will see that few buyers provide regular updates on what hasn't worked out because they just want people to focus on what they are looking for.

Thans for the info Dr J. I would still like to know when the squarer bracelet started being used, because I have seen some 2007 models with the rounder bracelet. Also, is there an actual easy way to tell if the watch has the super quartz?

On a side note, I found a blue one for sale in Florida. One thing I am concerned about is the gentleman selling it is a jewlery/watch store, and hr said his father replaced the battery on the watch. They are not an authorized dealer and I remember when I got my Emergency Mission the AD was very specific about the service/battery replacement needing to be done by Breitling USA since it is quite involved to change the battery.
Should I be concered that there may be something wrong with the watch now?
