Fred coached me to have my vintage Breitling restored by Craig. As I was sharing that story with some of my friends, one of them told me he had a vintage watch he might be willing to sell. He forwarded a picture - impossible to tell much due to the flash reflection, but I got to work learning about it. It's a Heuer Autavia. I decided to post it here to show how simply expressing an interest in vintage watches to non-watch friends netted me a sought-after watch for a true insider's price.
Am exploring restoration plans now. Craig will most likely be helping me with this one as well. I hope you enjoy the pic (still have a lot to learn about taking watch shots, but I used some tips I learned from you guys).
