I have an 809 with this Moblot mesh as your picture. I have no info if it would have been original, it certainly looks right for the watch, so i'd be interested to find out if it would have been original fitment.

I have never seen a NOS 806 / 809 that came with a moblot mesh bracelet or any other evidence that a moblot bracelet is correct for this watch

it does look similar to the ad is all I can say

I do know that this mesh bracelet was supplied with AVI's in the 60ies as I have the invoice for one that came with the bracelet and watch

No the bracelet ob the Breitling add is not the same than the Moblot on El Padre's pics : on the Moblot the attachs to the horns are all mesh , on the Breitling add you can see a plain metal bar in the same zone .

I think the metal bars are just folded under in the top picture, the Moblot bracelet in the first pictures is the same as the one i have fitted which certainly appears to be the same as the picture in the Breitling ad as far as i can tell.

No, bit i will readily admit that i did not investigate it either, maybe a quest for yourself ? And see if you can come up with hard evidence ?

as Phil said, the bracelet the OP shows is clearly NOT the one in the Cossie launch ad.

not in Vienna, will post some pics of my SOC 2105 mesh from the late 1960s and a late 1950s SOC on mesh. iirc neither shows a reference to MOBLOT. the 1950s SO bracelet btw. does not have a clasp like the others, but a tang buckle.

@Dracha: These heavy mesh-bracelets or milanaise-bracelets are also authentic on a big-case-watch, especially on a 7651. For me the best of all steel-bracelets and very comfortable to wear.

There is an advertisement on the website of Mr März with copyright . I don't like to make a mistake, therefore I didn't made an upload....

For now I have found 806 with Moblot bracelet:

http://www.watchauctions.co.uk/index.ph ... h.-50373-1

yes, we are not sure that this 806 was sold with the Moblot, but we have sureness that this is Moblot in this picture:

Image

please notice that the ends of the moblot bracelet are squared, like in original advertisement:

Image

In 60' and 70' there were a few bracelet's producers which delivered bracelets to the leading watch manufactures:
JB, NSA, Rowi, GF.

JB had something like in advertisement:

Image

but the ends in JB are rounded and more slim-fitted than Moblot.

ROWI had something like in advertisement too:

Image

but this bracelet are from 90' - in 60-70 Rowi had a logo like this:

Image

and the ends are also rounded.

I did't find any NSA or GF mesh bracelet.

The question stays - if its not a MOBLOT bracelet in the advertisement what is it then?

any ideas?

EDIT:

I forgot about Stelux :)
Stelux made OEM bracelet for Seiko or Mido.

This is Stelux mesh:

It is kind different...

this borders on delusional.

the Moblot u show in the OP has mesh all through on the top, the "squared ends" you talk about are the underside of the bracelet - or is your theory the springbar mounting slits were meant to be worn on top ?

I just got my Moblot bracelet out as well and had a look at it
I do not believe these were used by Breitling . The 'quality' just isnt there , its too flimsy , not well made and badly finished

so my (not based on fact) gut feeling is that Breitling did not use these bracelets
