I have a vintage breitling wakmann 11 jwel split timer with three dials arranged in a vertical line. The balance wheel support is stamped 90M. The watch features red and black second hands and two small minute hands. Major dial reads to 60, small upper dial reads to 30 and the small lower dial reads to 60.

I do not see how to remove the winding stem. No obvious set screws or push buttons.

Some one must know how. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Don't immediately recognise it. Breitling were producing these right through the 60s with a few different models, member vintage (Paul) is more of an expert on these. If it's like a pocket watch the stem would stay with the movement and be removed through the case - just the crown would come off.

You're reading 90M upside down as it's most likely Breitling/Wakmann Swiss Import code WOG which is correct. The movement is probably a variation of the Valjoux 5 which is used in the pocket chrono's. Looks like you have some rust problems to deal with. No idea how it comes apart but there might be a screw on the movement near where the crown shaft enters which might lock it in.

I saw WOG in the picture and didn't even associate it with the 90M comment - you're a smart Paul!

Gentlemen, I thank you. The crown does unscrew from the stem then the stem unlocks from a lower portion. See photo.

Just have to replace the balance wheel spring (or assembly) to have a super stopwatch.

Thanks again
