Nice watch, I just don't know enough about these to make any sort of informed comment

What makes you think that this is a Montbrillant / Breitling? I see no evidence of any markings identifying the maker.

I would find an authority in your area and have it authenticated in person. Using your watchprosite reference I would have doubts as that watch clearly has Montbilliant on the case back were yours does not. Different manufacturers could have used RF on a case, not all made their own cases. As for the movement, the reference watch is signed to some detail were as yours appears to have none at all other then for timing. These early pieces are quite easy to manipulate into sometime they are not. Have person that specializes in early timepieces that look for a true and accurate appraisal of originality.

Its not a Breitling, it is an early Rolex Chronograph with a Breitling-Montbrillant movement.

Ooh, careless there - if you are going to try and circumvent a ban you need to change your IP range.

OP, you should be aware that this member's posts should be treated extremely sceptically.

That site is not a trusted reference, the site owner is well known for trying to sell a lot of fake Breitlings.

As I said, seek out a person in your area, take your watch to them IN PERSON. This way you will not have an issue. If you do not have experience in this area it is wise to seek one IN PERSON who does. This site has some very knowledgeable individuals such as Roff, Vintage and WatchFred to name a small few that can ID Breitling's with great accuracy however we have shadows in the mist that like to play adolescent games in an adult area. Do not disregard this site by those/that individual.
