Got this Breitling Bentley GT Racing Chronograph Automatic Green Dial Mens Watch A1336313-L503SS watch this week as a wedding present from my uncle. He got it on Jomashop and paid $6,000 (I have receipt). Original retail is listed at $8520.00 The thing is I have no use for this in my collection as I have 3 other Breitlings and would like to get some info on where I could sell this other than ebay? I have not taken any of the plastic off the dial or band and it is unworn / untried on even. All boxes and paperwork is present. Local jewelry store that is an AD offered me 4,000.00 I do not want to return it to Joma as I want to turn it into cash and go on a honeymoon instead.

Thanks in advance!

I'd take the $4K from the local AD and run out the door and don't look back. The green dial is going to be a tough sell on any forum.

Would I be better off returning it to Joma and buying a 6k rolex? Or selling back to joma?

If you can return it, then I would do that option.

Right but since it was a gift I would not end up with any money unless I do an exchange. Torneau offered 3900 to 4100 today?

They offered that in a trade? That's a pretty high offer from Tourneau as they tend to be pretty low on their trade offers. The only way you are getting cash for it is a private sale on the forums or ebay. If you return it to Joma they will only refund your uncle's credit card.

They offered that in a cash offer, its brand new and they are getting it at 1/2 retail actually 44% retail.

It's not brand new and as said by others, take that money and run before they see sense if that's a cash offer. That watch has:

- Been sold by the AD to the grey market
- Been sold by the grey market to you
- Had the warranty effectively removed through the grey market process

And yet Tourneau are offering you only about $1,000 less than they can buy a (really) brand new one for from Breitling - and they get payment terms on that, rather than having to pay you cash. Whoever offered you that has lost their mind and you should take advantage.

Take the money and take it quick! Somebody is messing something up there. I was told by a dealer there never to sell them used watches as they only offer $.25 on the $1 and that's if its in good shape. Go back to that salesman and get your $4k ASAP!!

And just in case the OP isn't literally RUNNING to the AD at this very instant to take advantage of that insane cash deal, here's another vote of :yeahthat .
