Just in passing, I notice so many references on net to this watch or one of its many variations, calling it up as a Datora. That’s got to be for convenience in simply describing a reference to the particular dial layout, surely?

Yes now I see that's a misnomer. Heck, people could refer to it as a "Jean Claude Killy" since they share the same movement and configuration. And be just as wrong!

Wow!! I've never seen another even remotely like mine! There are significant differences but .... wow!!

Ummmmm can anyone point me to a translator like Babelfish that could translate this for me?

EDIT: I found a translator program and I think I agree, the thing looks pretty fishy, But still, wow!

Can't blame you for not being familiar as the guys here about that seller:). He's been ruining the reputation of Breitling vintages for quite a while under different aliases by selling fakes or frankens. I am sure you can see through that piece on Ebay without being an expert.

Btw I noticed most of his Datoras from chrono24 have finally disappeared or did they all get sold to unsuspecting buyers?;(
