I have a bit of a strap addiction  , and just received my forth strap since buying my Avenger last month.
It's the new Superocean rubberized strap with white detailing.
Not 100% sure if the combo works on an Avenger so open to opinions.

I think it looks good!

There are enough light colored accents on your dial to make it work.

Looks good. How comfortable/flexible are those new rubberized straps? Thinking about getting one for one of my divers. Thanks.

Looks good man. I feel the same way, I have 2 SA's and 9 different straps and or bracelets. I would be interested to see how comfortable it is as well

Yes, please, some more info on these straps! What are they? Leather, rubber? Something in between? Water resistant? Thinking of buying one myself to, for the Superocean old style

Cheers guys.

Kodiak: In terms of flexibility they pretty much act like the leather straps, at the moment it's quite stiff, but I'm sure like the leathers, once properly broken into will be a lot more comfortable.

Lowrance: I believe they are leather straps with a coating of rubber. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure if it's actually waterproof.
Richard@Andrew Michaels told me that the strap is not water resistant but is more resilient to humidity and sweat than the standard leather.

Would like more comfirmation before swimming myself though.
However, I read thread on Watchuseek where someone had this strap and went swimming with it and said it was waterproof.

Thanks for the info Mhou.

I bought an orange version of these cool straps yesterday and installed it on my older Superocean Coral.
(pics here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=48900&p=353759#p353759 )

Think these straps are pretty cool. I have sent an email to Breitling SA about a final verdict about waterproofness from these straps. Have heard a few different things now. The AD I bought this strap from was convinced these are 100% waterproof and swimming shouldn't be any problem ! Breitling SA is still closed, got an automated message, but when they have replied will post here.

The orange strap looks great on your orange coral. Really pops!

Yes, would be great to get a confirmation from Breitling, update us when you get a reply.

They are water safe, don't know the actual method used but there a nice flash of colour that's certainly needed by Breitling, the blue black and bronze rubbers ain't exactly hitting the modern market, I did like the Bentley ice white rubber which think the could of done a run in the pro diver or ocean racer series.
IMO of course :)

I like that a lot! Also interested in getting a leather and runner for a silver dial Avenger I'm picking up this week. What's the serial # on that strap. The white detailing looks stunning.
