i bought a new SA 3 weeks ago.
bought it that time due to rumors that breitling was reducing AD discount and SA 2 was about to launch
i was worried SA will be discontinued due to SA 2 launch and i preferred SA more than SA 2.

now i saw somebody selling a 2009 used SA for 70% of what i paid for it.
if only that advert came out 3 weeks earlier....

I am based in SG so watches are more expensive than elsewhere
My SA had a RRP of 8140
New SA ii has a RP of 8240 according to breitling website

Now discount is very tight cos breitling opened their boutique at palais renaissance and told all AD to tighten discount to 15%
I am glad I bought mine earlier
Paid 5xxx for it

That's a good deal, at nearly 30%off right? I got that discount too in HK 2 1/2 yrs ago for my Seawolf. Then Breitling changed the discount policy, I guess. I bought my SA (list price €4720) in Belgium at 20% off last June, and then 21% vat deducted on top.

Last weekend in Causeway Bay, HK I overheard a negotiation on a Navitimer at the Br Boutique there. They wouldn't go over 15% indeed.
