Hi all,

I'm new to the forums. And of course, the first thread I post is an "is this real??". So anyway...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/200943914407?ss ... 1432.l2649

The watch does come with box and papers, which is a bit reassuring, but I wanted some second opinions first. Pictures aren't terrible but there could be more of them...

Let me know what you experts think. Thanks a lot!

Good looking watch and a reasonable price. Would be a good pick up IMO

You guys are fast!

Any feelings about the bracelet? Again, the pictures aren't great, but do the screws on the links look flat? I read somewhere that they should be flat instead of round.

I wouldn't worry too much about that - it all looks fine to me.

An update!

Watch arrived and here are the pictures. Let me know if anything looks out of place.

The face does have a bluish reflection off of it. I heard this is because the crystal is sapphire, and most fakes have glass or plastic.

The box has seen better days. Half the letters are missing! The seller never told me about this so I'll have to contact him about it.

It's still real.

The bluish tinge is the anti-reflective coating on the crystal. The crystal is sapphire, but that's not why it's blue.

Gotcha. That makes sense. And glad to know this is genuine.

One last (stupid) question...

How do you rotate the bezel to use the slide rule? I've seen videos online and it just looks like the bezel should be free turning. Mine refuses to rotate. Is there a switch somewhere? Or am I just using it wrong completely?

The bezel should move freely in both directions. No idea why it wont move.
