Well I was pulling your leg, hence the :poke: , but I also think that a mesh is likely to accumulate more grime than a regular bracelet. Straps will also be harder to keep clean as they are less impervious than a metal bracelet.

Good point, I really like the Super Ocean heritage but im not sure if its just due to the mesh strap, I'll need to try and find some pics of a super avenger on one

Don't love it to death. If I play tennis with a watch I'll give a little gentle rinse under the tap and dry it with a towel. Every once in a long while I'll use just one little drop of liquid soap (well diluted on my fingers) if the watch feels like it's a bit "filmy".

I just wash it from time to time with tap water. Once a week I will use soap to give it a deeper cleaning. I do wipe the crystal everyday though.
